Reflection 2
Reflection 2 In this unit, our learning theme is popular culture. In the first part, we learned what is popular culture. We read an article about "What is pop culture," and then I know that pop culture means popular and culture. And popular means “of the people”, when we think of popular culture, we should think about people first. In this article, we also learned that pop culture is made up of all the objects, people, events, and places to which most of us readily relate and which comprise a society at any given time, past or present.
In the second part, we have learned that what makes aa star. We have watched 4 articles about 4 stars. They are Adele, Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, and Hatsune Miko. After that, we also made an oral statement about the American star and introduced a biography of a favorite American star. In this section, I introduced my favorite movie star Paul Walker.
My “Aha Moment” is that I was surprised that when I had known that popular culture is “the fabric of our lives”. My “Bumper Sticker” is pop=popular=of the people.
