Movie Review

Movie review

                                                                                             ----- “Mid90s”

I have to say that the chairs in the AMC theater are very comfortable, but the food is not very tasty.

The theater is a good theater, the movie is also a good movie. Ok, at the beginning, this is the basic information of the movie: The movie's name is Mid90s, its director is Jonah Hill, the production company is A24, and the main actors are Sunny Suljic and Lucas Hedges. The movie was made in 2018 and the country of production is the United States. The film mainly talks about the life experience of a boy named Stevie in the mid-1990s. He lives unhappy at home, so he makes some friends who like skateboarding. Well, this is boring, isn't it?
There are only three people in Stevie’ family, they are Stevie, his mother and his brother, Lan. Yes, Stevie doesn’t have father. Lan always bullies Stevie, he beats him, yells at him, even grabs his money. Stevie is very sad but can’t do anything to change that. Until one day he saw some teenagers skateboarding, he wanted to join them because he thought they were cool. He learns to smoke, learns to drink, and even learns to take drugs. Finally, he became friends with them but also became a bad boy.
In this movie, I like two people, one is Stevie and the other is one of his friends, Ray. His friends are not all bad boys, because Ray is a good boy and is also a good friend. When Stevie is in a bad mood, Ray will talk to him and advise him not to drink and take drugs. Stevie is a very cute boy, and the audience likes him. When they saw him taking drugs, the audience lamented "Oh, no!". And when we saw that he was injured in a car accident, we were very upset.
I like this movie very much because it tells us that teenagers should make good friends when making friends, but not to make friends with bad boys. In my opinion, this movie is worth watching for all of us, including adults and children. Children can learn the importance of making friends, and adults can learn the importance of caring for children. This is a thought-provoking movie, you can always learn something from it.
